his home after a short illness.
He was a retired farmer. Surviving
are his widow, Minnie;
two sons, Dola of Sissonville
and Fred of Bowling Green,
Va.; six daughters,
Mrs Ruth Burdette, Mrs.Lucy
Caldwell, Mrs. Elizabeth Shivley
and Mrs. Vernes Burdette,
all of Sissonville, Mrs.
Emeline Argabrite of Clendenin
and Mrs. Sadie Skeens
of Charleston; a stepson,
Stanley Ranson of Charleston;
two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Gib-
son of Belle and Mrs. Ernie
Fisher of Sissonville; two
brothers, Bert and Vete, both
of Sissonville; 29 grandchildren;
and seven great-grandchildren.
Service will be conducted
at 11:30 a. m. Monday
in Grapevine Chapel near Sis
sissonvile by the Rev. Herbie
Anderson. Burial will be in
Newhouse Cemetery nearby.
The body is at Long and Fisher
Funeral Home.
Thomas was preceded in death
by infant daughter, Mary, born
to Nealie and Thomas, 1915.
