Mrs. Nancy Anne Brodrick, age 65, passed away on Sunday afternoon, September 24, 2006. She was born on May 21, 1941 in Ann Arbor, MI. She claimed the promises of God’s Word, to be given eternal life through her simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She received Him as her personal Savior in 1954 at then Calvary Baptist Church in Muskegon and was baptized on February 14th, 1954. She was currently a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Grand Haven, MI. She leaves this earthly life to abide forever with her Lord and Creator. She temporarily leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Harold Lewis Brodrick whom she married February 14th, 1958; three children, son, Rick Lewis (Gayle Joy) Brodrick, son, Jeffrey Alan (Denise Elaine) Brodrick, daughter, Amy Lorraine (Kirk Edward) Schultz; five grandchildren, Abbey Candace and Addison John Taylor Brodrick, Amy Lauren and Justin Alan Brodrick, Kandi Elizabeth Schultz; mother, Lorraine Abbey of Pensacola, FL; brother, Louis M. (Kim) Abbey of Milton, FL; Uncle Jack (Annette) Abbey of Brooksville, FL; Aunt Ada (Abbey) Jessup of Ypsilanti, MI and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded to Heaven by her dear dad, Louis G. Abbey, in 1997. SERVICES will be 7 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 13364 Lakeshore Drive (at Church Hill), Grand Haven, MI (616-842-8240) with Pastor Wayne Muri & Rev. Dr. Clayton Nuttall of Winston-Salem, NC officiating. Burial will be at East Dalton–Oakhill Cemetery, Muskegon, MI. VISITATION with Nancy’s family will be 6-9PM Tuesday and 2-4PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given through Lakeshore Baptist Church to be distributed evenly among two ministries dear to Nancy’s heart, BEN (Baptist Equipping Nationals) and Faith Children’s Orphanage, Kitwe, Zambia.
