Sylvia Rindge Adamson Neville died early on 30th May 2015 at home. She was born 18th May 1921 in Santa Monica, California to Merritt Huntley Adamson, Sr. and Rhoda Agatha Rindge Adamson.

She attended Marlborough School in Los Angeles. She studied German Literature at Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, then went on to obtain her Master's Degree. She worked at Campbell's Book Store where she met her future husband. They had three children, Erica deFrancia, Robert Grey, and Rhoda Roxanna Sofia. Later she worked at her family business, Adohr Creamery in Los Angeles.

She spent her professional life dedicated to the family business, working along side her brother, Merritt and her sister, Rhoda-May. She retired in 1998, and moved to Snowflake, AZ in 2003 to be closer to family. She had just celebrated her 94th birthday with her family. Sylvia was proceeded in death by her brother and sister, and by her two eldest children.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhoda, five grand-children, and five great-grandchildren.
