US Congressman. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives in 1822 and 1823. In 1829, he was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-first Congress, serving until 1831. Not a candidate for renomination, he was appointed Associate Judge of the courts of Delaware County, Pennsylvania and served until 1851.
