William H. Garman died at his home north of Waverly Wednesday night last week. Deceased was born at Fountain Run, Ky., December 23, 1862.
He was married to Miss Dollie Steenbergen of Fountain Run, on May 21, 1890, and to this union were born eight children, two dying in infancy. He was converted at the age of thirty, and has always lied a christian life.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife; six children, Everett and Willie of Pine Bluff, Ark., Charles, of Chicago; Winifred, of Detroit, Mich.; Edward and Edwin, at home; also five brothers, Isaac, Joseph and James Garman, of Wavery; George and John, of Allen County, Ky.; and four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Gibbs of Springfield; Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas of Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Kate Dial of Lincoln; and Mrs. Sarah Ellen Gosnell of Allen County, Ky.; besides four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 2:30, in charge of Rev. J. E. Curry.
Interment was in East cemetery.
