Etter Frances Bradshaw was born in Barn county, Kentucky, December 22, 1876, and died in Waverly, Ill. Feb. 22, 1912, aged 36 years and 10 months.
In 1891 she was married to Joseph B. Garman. To them were born seven children, Elzy, Myrtle, Ross, Pearl, Milzy, Avis, and Ethel, together with the husband, one sister and an uncle remain to mourn her departure.
She professed faith in Christ when 18 years of age, united with a Baptist church in Kentucky. During the winter of 1909 she and her daughter Myrtle united with the Waverly Baptist church. She was patient throughout her illness and was possessed of one sterling characteristic, "she bore in silence her own troubles," being always cheerful to others.
Funeral services were held in the Baptist church Friday evening, at 2:00 o'clock in charge of the pastor Rev. P. H. Aldrich and interment made in East cemetery.
