Funeral services for Eva Arnett, 90, of Ava, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava with the Rev. Robert Halstead officiating. Burial was in Ava Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnett died at 4:05 p.m. Friday at Chastain's Nursing Home here where she had been a resident for 6 1/2 months.
She had been a member of the Church of the Nazarene for 56 years.
A retired practical nurse and housewife, MRs. Arnett was born April 30, 1887, at Ava, the daughter of Irving King and Mary Ann Yandell King. She married John Arnett at Ava Nov. 7, 1905.
Survivors include one son, Coral E. Arnett of Sparks, Nevada, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
