In Loving Memory of Rock

My best friend and friend of our family, died in a motorcycle accident Labor Day September 3, 2007 at Northeast 10th and Martin Luther King.

Rock's Obituary

Terry Elgin LeShore, aka "Rock," was born on June 1, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the second of five children born to Martha and Cleveland LeShore.

He received his early years of education at Polk Elementary and finished at Star Spencer High School as a football player, wrestler and track runner. He received a football scholarship to attend Grambling University. He turned down the scholarship for a career in the U.S.A.F. Reserves in Missouri.

For a number of years, her performed his talent as a positive rapper to turn young people away from drugs. He appeared on the Anthony Foster Talk Show and performed for Clara Luper Show. Terry worked for BFI and T.J. Campbell Construction.

In 1990 he relocated to California and in 1996, he met and married Angela Jones. Upon returning to Oklahoma City, he went back to work at T.J. Campbell for a short while and decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business. He became the Owner/Operator of Rocks Trucking Company.

In recent years, Terry has been involved with the Cap Pella Motorcycle Club which he loved; he customized his own award winning motorcycle.

His family always remained close to his heart. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Angela Jones-LeShore; two children: Peris LeShore and Rashad LeShore, both of Oklahoma City; his loving parents, Cleveland and Martha Leshore of Spencer, Oklahoma; three brothers: Raymond LeShore of Oklahoma City, OK, Bruce LeShore (Karen) of Waldorf, MD, and Ron LeShore of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, LaTrice (DeWayne) of Melissa, TX; and a host of loving Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Celebration of Rock's Life was 11:00am Saturday September 8, 2007 at Church of God in Christ (Southeast Oklahoma Jurisdictional Headquarters), 4019 South Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73119.

Interment: Hillcrest Memory Gardens
