He was a Dentist in Fort Worth,Tarrant County, Texas.
His first office was in the Flat Iron Building on 9th. Street, he moved to the Medical Arts Building when it was first built.
Two of Dr. Garrison's brothers were dentists, Dr. Augustine Andrew Garrison, Shreveport, Louisiana and Dr. Monte Ralph Garrison of Wichita Falls, Texas. Two of his sons, Dr. Burres West Garrison and Dr. Ferd Erwin "Jack" Garrison of Fort Worth,Texas were also dentists.

Dentist Dies
DR. GARRISON' S FUNERAL TODAY
Dr. F.G. Garrison, dentist, member of a number of Masonic Orders and the Fort Worth, Texas and National dental societies, will be buried this afternoon.

Funeral services for Dr. F.G. Garrison, 53, dentist, 2800 Avenue C, who died Sunday morning at 1:20 o'clock in Fort Worth hospital, will be held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at Polytechnic Methodist Church. The body will lie at the church from 3:30 until 4:30.
Services at the church will be conducted by Rev. Virgil Fisher, pastor, and services at the grave in Geenwood Cemetery will be conducted by members of Masonic Lodge No. 148. A funeral guard of honor will be furnished by the Knights Templar.
Pallbearers will be Harley F. Smith, L.A. McWhirter, S.S. Dillow, J.F. Prichard, R.F. Cunn and K.A. Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fort Worth Dental Society.
Resident here for 27 years, Dr. Garrison had been a resident of Fort Worth for 27 years and came here from Alabama.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Dr. B.W. and Dr. Jack Garrison of Fort Worth and James Garrison, Dallas; two daughters, Corrine and Eloise Garrison of Fort Worth; his mother Mrs W.D. Garrison, Fort Worth, and three brothers, Dr. A.A. Garrison of Shreveport, W.T. Garrison of Harlingen, and Dr. M.R. Garrison of Wichita Falls, and five grandchildren.
Services Given Home For Aged
Dr. Garrison for some time had donated his dental services to inmates of the Home for Aged Masons at Arlington. He was a member of the following Masonic orders, Lodge No. 148, Chapter No. 58, Council No. 42, Fort Worth Commandery, Polytechnic Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Moslah Shrine Temple. He was a charter member of the Shrine Temple and a member of its drill team. He also was a member of Red Cross Lodge, Knights of Pythias; a director of Medowbrook Country Club, director of Polytechnic Rainbow Girls, Polytechnic Methodist Church and Tereh Club.
Dr. Garrison was a member of the city, state and national dental societies.
