Robert C. Bauer, 67, of Weidman, passed away on July 19th, 2020 peacefully at home. He was born on April 7, 1953 to the late Frederick and June (Murtland) Bauer.
Robert loved the outdoors especially hunting, and was an avid fisherman. He loved watching western movies and cooking. Robert had a special love in his heart for his grandchildren and family.
Robert is survived by his wife Laura (Wallace) Bauer, children; Jody Lyn Strobel, Vannessa (Miguel) Gomez, Robert Carl (Crystal) Bauer II, and Elizabeth (Alan) Fick, grandchildren; Cassie, Emily, Chad, Meikah, Christian, Logan, Courtney, Angela, and five great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his two brothers, Fred Bauer, Ken (Diane) Bauer, and sister Adele Richardson.
Robert is predeceased by his brother Ron Bauer.
There will be a funeral service on Thursday July 23rd at 12pm at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with Father Thomas Held officiating. Friends of the family may visit from 10am until time of service. Burial will take place at Homer Township Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
