Shelby was born Aug. 17, 1937 to Lela Mae Miller Brock and James Walter Brock. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1955 and was a longtime member of Center Grove Baptist Church.
Shelby is survived by daughters Gina Jacobsen (Jimmy Stapler), Terri "Tiny" Gilley (Billy) and Teresa Solley; son Jeff Wren (Patricia); brother Herbert Brock; grandchildren Shane Eddleman (Krystal), Jeremy Shickles, Travis Jacobsen (Lillie), Holly Jacobsen, Gary Stewart (Angie), Angie Carrol (Brian), Bridget Gregory, Skylar Aker, Michael Chambers, Angela Eubanks (Jarrod), Derek Chambers (Ashley), Natasha Chambers, Martina Chambers, and Ryan Chambers (Emily); great-grandchildren Aubrey Shickles, Hannah Shickles, Haleigh Shickles, Christopher Saint, Riley Carrol, Brianna Carrol, Alec Stewart, Ashley Williams, Callie Jacobsen, Emma Jacobsen, T.J.
