Frank Y. Hubbard Services to Be Held Today
Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home for Frank Y. Hubbard, 79, who died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday at Hershey hospital. The Rev. Ralph Johnson, pastor of the Musserville Methodist church, will be in charge and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Hubbard was born June 11, 1883, in Muscatine, and he was a life resident of this community. He resided at 1212 New Hampshire street. He had been in failing health for several months.
His marriage to Phoenie R. Rainbow took place June 11, 1896, in Muscatine. He was of Methodist faith and had been employed at a rural mail carrier for a number of years.
Survivors include four sons, Harold O., Frank L., Orville G. and Robert A., of Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. John Tiedemann of Muscatine and Mrs. Wesley Smith, Sr., of Columbus Junction; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded him in death were his parents, wife, two daughters and one brother.
