M.L. (Meb) Blue, 73, of Brave, Pa., died at his home Saturday from an apparent heart attack. He was born May 16,1897, in Gilmore Township, near Jollytown, a son of the late Spencer and Leona Rice Blue.

His first wife, Jessie Parsons Blue, died in 1957. Three of their children survive: Mrs. Irving (Josephine) Dean of San Francisco, Calif., Ralph Blue of Red Lion, Pa., and Jack Blue of Barnesboro, Pa.; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his second wife, Estella Tennant Blue; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Paul (Violet) Blue of Wadestown, Mrs. Walter (Julia) Huffman of Morgantown, Mrs. Jimmy (Betty) Straight of Fairmont, Mrs. James (Carol) Parsons of Buffalo, W.Va.) two stepsons, Albert Tennant of Moundsville and Billy Tennant of Wilmington, Del .; a sister, Mrs. Harry (Grace) Snell of Route 1, Waynesburg; two brothers, Owen Blue of Brave and Belmont Blue of Templeton, Pa. One daughter, one sister, and three brothers preceded him in death.
