She was the daughter of Thomas Waltman, born in Maryland, and her mother's maiden name was unknown to her husband, who was the informant. She was buried at Georgetown [Weeping Willow] Cemetery in Brown County on August 11, 1909, J. W. Deringer of Bean Blossom, undertaker.
