OBITUARY: Ada DeJarnette, Chester Twp., dies . . . Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Cobb DeJarnette, who died last Friday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Chester, after a brief illness, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bethany Baptist Church, 12th and Tilghman Sts., Chester.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until 1 pm. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Chester Township.
Mother of Chester sportsman Willie C. De Jarnette, Mrs. DeJarnette was born in Clarkton, Va., and lived in the Chester area since 1942. She lived at 1321 Engle St., Chester Township.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church for 32 years.
