Robert "Bob" J. Buzinski, 84, 405 Fifth Mosinee, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. He was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Wausau, the son of the late John and Mary (Egan) Buzinski.

He married Grace Gorski on Aug. 7, 1943, in Bangor, Maine. She survives. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 1906 Engineer Battalion for 3 years.

He owned and operated Sinclair Service Station in Mosinee and later Northern Candy Sales from his home. He then was employed at I Bank in Mosinee for 15 years, retiring in 1984. Bob loved spending time at his cottage in Eagle River. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and repairing small motors. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW Mosinee Post No. 8733. Survivors, besides his wife, Grace, include a daughter, Brenda Buzinski, New Berlin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert, and a brother, John. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, where at 6:30 p.m. there will be a prayer service followed by a VFW service.
