Those left to mourn her death are her husband, Royal Handley, to whom she was married on January 1, 1929; two sons by a former marriage, Clark Mason of Ontario, California, and Monte Mason of Denver, Colorado; three grand-children and three great grand-children; four brothers, Robert of Lucas, Wils of Wichita, Ted, address unknown, and John of Juniata, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Henderson and Mrs. J. L. Burns of Lucas; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services were held from the Lucas Methodist Church, June 22, 1964 at 10:00 a. m. Rev. D. O'Hara officiating. Miss Sheryl Dorman was the organist with Mrs. Dean Cooper and Mrs. Gene Ward singing.
Casketbearers were Pete Reh, Merl Hurlbut, Ralph Hurlbut, Bill Dick and Henry Brown. Burial was made in the Lucas Cemetery. Rodrick-Minear Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements.
