Columbus Evening Republican 12 Jan 1948 Harold Arnholt Succumbs to Heart Block at Home in Peru.

Harold E. Arnholt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arnholt of Georgetown road, died suddenly at 6:15 o'clock this morning at his home, 316 West Sixth street, Peru, Ind., of a heart block. He was 43.

He was born March 4, 1904, in Columbus, and lived here until 1926 when he moved to Peru. He graduated from Columbus high school in 1921. He was married to the former Miss Willa Rex of Peru, who survives. Other survivors besides the parents and the widow are a sister, Mrs. Martin Voelz of Georgetown road, and a cousin, Norval Arnholt, of near Columbus.

He was employed by the Marburger Supply company of Peru. He was a member of the Methodist church of Columbus, Masonic lodge and Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Eikenberry funeral home in Peru, conducted by the Rev. E. P. Quinton. Burial will be made at Mt. Hope cemetery at Peru. Scottish Rite and Masonic services will be held at the grave.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
