Thomas Lowery, a miner of the Hatfield-Campbell's Creek Coal Company mine at Putney, died of a heart attack yesterday while at work. His body was removed to the Bartlett and Wynns Mortuary at Belle. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Lowery, five sons, Eugene, James, and Dakin, of the Army, John at home, and Beecher of Carbondale; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Hartsock of Tad, Miss Leoma Lowery of Cincinnati, and Miss Dollie Lowery at home; three brothers; a half-sister and 13 grandchildren.
