There is a discrepancy between the year of birth on the headstone and the year of birth on the memorial. When I created the memorial, I did not have a photo of the headstone. I reviewed the information I have for José Silverio Longoria and have decided to keep the 1870 date. His marriage record, death certificate and the SS Applications and Claims Index all give 1870 as the year of birth, and he appears on the 1870 census. Thus, I have concluded that the headstone is in error.
