Louise A. Bailey, 97, of South Charleston passed away on Monday, September 3, 2007, in CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was born on February 23, 1910, in Monitor and was a daughter of the late Lomax and Mina Fulks.

She was a faithful member of Wesleyan Bible Chapel for over 30 years.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Claude Bailey; her daughter, Patricia Durr; and sister, Bess McKnight.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her sons, Ronald Bailey and Elmer Bailey both of Salem, Ill.; daughters, Bonnie Vachal of Midland, Texas, Carol Tyra of Dallas, Texas, Sharon Nelson of St. Albans and Yvonne Dent of Germany; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 8, at Wesleyan Bible Chapel with the Rev. Benny Durr officiating. Graveside committal will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Graceland Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Wesleyan Bible Chapel.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
