LONGMIRE, MRS. CHANEY M., of Birmingham, died Saturday, December 25, 1999. She was a member of Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church, former Sunday School Teacher, member of the United Methodist Women, Church Historian, member of Martha Chapel #2 International Order of Eastern Star. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, at 12:30 p.m., at Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church with burial at George Washington Carver Memorial Gardens. Survivors: daughters, Jessie L. Sullen, Fannie L. Longmire, and Cynthia L. (Bernis) Abernathy; sons, David (Gwen) Longmire and James E. Longmire; daughter-inlaw, Lois M. Longmire; son-in-law, William Adams; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Bushelon Funeral Home, directing.
