LEVESQUE, ALMA - It is with great sadness that the family of Alma Mabelle Levesque announces her passing at York Manor on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Born in Fielding, NB on August 22, 1918, she was the wife of the late Edward Joseph Levesque. A resident of Lakeville Corner for over 60 years as a homemaker, her favorite pastime was playing cards, lovingly knitting woolen socks, mitts, and slippers all the while being a gracious hostess to family, neighbors and friends. Predeceased by husband, Edward Joseph Levesque; daughter, Mary Wood; stepchildren, Mable McLean, Elsie Christensen, Omar Levesque; sisters, Phyllis Miller, Rachel Lunn, Angela Allaby; brothers, Creighton Dyer, Emery Dyer, and Eden Dyer. Survived by her sister, Elaine Simpson (Lawrence); step daughters, Louise Hannon and Norma LaTour; 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren children and nieces and nephews. In respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations in Alma’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
