Ann J. Butler (nee Rudval) of Yonkers died on Thursday June 6, 2001 at age 88. Born on November 27, 1912 to Joseph and Martha Rudval in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Butler was a Medical Stenographer for doctors in Yonkers and the Bronx. On June 30, 1934 she married Leo J. Butler in St. Peters Church in Yonkers. Together the Butler's were well know with swimming programs throughout Westchster County. Mr. Butler was inducted into both Westchester and Yonkers Hall of Fames. Besides her husband,Ann is survived by her son Leo T. Butler of Wappinger Falls, her three grandchildren Karen, Jacqueline and Donna and two great grandchildren Nicholas and Brad. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Ann, and her son Richard John Butler, her brother Walter and sisters Stella and Margaret. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church on Saturday June 9th at 10:00AM. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum.
