1984 retired after 45 years as a carpenter. He also had been an instructor for apprentice carpenters.
Died age 76 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus.

daughters Rita Greathouse of Rock Island and Bonnie Marion of Des Moines;
son Kenneth Knapp of Fox Lake IL.;
