John D. Coltrane, 54, of Virginia Beach, VA passed away on July 31, 2020. He was born on November 29, 1965 in Asheboro, North Carolina to Glenda Richardson and John E. Coltrane. He retired after 14 years of service in 2018 from the City of Norfolk as a Fireman. He was a member of Kingdom Life Outreach Center where he served as a Minister and Leader. John was predeceased by his daughter, Dominique L. Owens. John is survived by his wife, Sonya D. Coltrane; daughter, Gabrielle "Gigi" Coltrane-Hart; son, Devante Coltrane; mother, Glenda Richardson; father, John E. Coltrane; sister, Antoinette Coltrane; sister-in-law, Teresa Simmons; brother-in-law, Ernest Simmons; Goddaughters, Godson, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
