McCOOK LAKE, S.D. -- Joshua James Trobaugh, 27, of Denver, Colo., formerly of McCook Lake died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, in Denver.

Joshua was born Oct. 4, 1979, in Sioux City, the son of Kathryn Jensen (Jones) and David Trobaugh. He attended McCook Grade School and Dakota Valley High School in McCook Lake. He was employed with Burnight Glass Company in North Sioux City. He moved to Denver in 1998, where he started his own glass business.

He met Andi Martinez and they were married on Aug. 27, 2004. His lifelong dream was to own and operate his own business. He accomplished that goal by opening Mr. Tank's Tattoo Shop in June 2007, named after his wonderful English bulldog and companion, Tank. He also enjoyed taking his 1965 Chevy Impala to car shows, where he won many competitions.

Family members who will miss Josh dearly include his wife, Andi Trobaugh and her family of Denver; his mother, Kathryn Jensen (Jones) of Sioux City; his father, David Trobaugh and his fiancee, Jo Hasenbank of McCook Lake, S.D.; a son, Tyler Trobaugh of North Sioux City; two sisters, Sacha Johnson and her twin daughters, Hannah and Morgan and special friend, Mike Denney of Sioux City and Shawn Eastman and her children, Mackenzie and Zachary of Surprise, Ariz.; two brothers, Rob Jensen and his wife, Suzi of Le Mars, Iowa, and Jason Trobaugh and his wife, Patty of Olympic Valley, Calif.; maternal grandmother, Jean Jones of McCook Lake; paternal aunts and uncles, Karlene and Leo Heilman, Steven and Melinda Trobaugh, all of Sioux City and Michael Trobaugh of North Sioux City; maternal aunts and uncles, Dennis and Robyn Jones of Alcester, S.D., Vicky and Rodger Merryman, Judy and Mike Fox, Wendy Jones and Peggy and Mark Tramontina, all of Sioux City; and many cousins, to numerous to name.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Audrey and Eugene Trobaugh; paternal uncle, Doug Trobaugh; maternal grandfather, Robert Jones; maternal cousins, Stephanie Fox, Joey Beaver and Megan Jones; and maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
