"Hathaway S. Brenneman, 73, Mount Joy R1, died Tuesday at 2:50 a.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness. He was employed as a machine operator at the Colonial Metals Co., Columbia. Born in Winterstown, Pa., a son of the late Daniel and Maggie Herbst Brenneman, he resided in the Mount Joy area for the past 28 years. He attended the Newtown United Methodist Church and Sunday School, and was a member of Friendship Fire Co. 1, Mount Joy. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Gletmacher Brenneman; two daughters, Margaret, wife of Ralph Riddle, Stewartstown; and Kathryn, wife of Glenn Loucks, Mount Wolf; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, D. Sargent Brenneman, Red Lion."
