Edna Turner, 91, died Monday July 11, 1994. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 13, at the Grover LDS Ward Church. Interment was at the Grover Cemetery.
She was born Feb 5, 1903 at Grover WY, a daughter of John and Ida McCombs Anderson. She attended school at Grover, Brigham Young University and Utah State majoring in art.
She married Ernest E. Turner in the Logan temple on May 24, 1928. They were later divorced and Edna spent many years helping the elderly, the ill and those who needed special care.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught in the Primary, Sunday School and MIA organizatons. The star Valley Stake organizations used her artistic talents frequently. She was talented in oil paintings, sketches, crafts, quilting and handiwork, all beautifully done.
Survivors are a sister Pearl Hepworth of Rexburg, ID and a brother J. Delos Anderson of Afton, WY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 13, at the Grover Ward for former resident Edna Turner who died Monday, July 11, in Rexburg. Edna is the sister-in-law of Della Anderson and sister of J. Delos Anderson, Afton.
Interment was in the Grover Cemetery.
