Robert "Bob" C. Scott, 62, of Chubbuck, Idaho, passed away suddenly Aug. 25, 2016, at Portneuf Medical Center following complication of a surgery.
He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Hamilton, Mont., to Wayde and Bonnie Scott. Early in his childhood, the family moved to Idaho Falls, where Bob grew up and received his education. Bob graduated from Skyline High School and then began his career as a milkman until he joined the Pocatello Police Department on March 28, 1977. He retired from the Pocatello Police Department as a sergeant July 19, 2005, serving for 28 years. He was well respected and known as the department's prankster. Bob loved the outdoors and his dogs, building and remodeling projects around the house. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed.
Bob was preceded in death by grandparents and nephew, Nicholas Scott. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheri of Pocatello; children, Matthew Scott of Pocatello and Lindsy (Korey) Rosen of Chubbuck; grandchildren, Madison Scott, Taylor and Lucas Rosen; parents; brothers, Mike (Pam) Scott of Phoenix, Ariz., Jim (Karla) Scott of Rigby and Barry (Kaleen) Scott of Rigby; as well as many nieces and nephews.
