She was married in Birmingham, Alabama on May 16, 1922 to Egypt Abercrombie. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Mrs. Abercrombie leaves sons, Edward L. and Fred W. Abercrombie, both of Columbus, Herbert Abercrombie of Coatsville, PA; daughter, Mrs. Charles (Willie Belle) Nelson of Harlem Heights, WV; 29 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Estelle Dansby of Bessemer, AL and Zilphia McGee of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Lawrence, Walter and Willie Bailey of Birmingham, AL; son-in-laws, Leroy Lewis and James Clements of West Virginia; plus a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
