Idell was the youngest child born to Louis M. and Florence Oller Barber. She gained her heavenly wings on August 9, 2020, at the Montgomery County Nursing Home.
She married Gilford Elder on 5 Jul 1937 in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. They were the parents of four sons.
Idell is pre-deceased by two sons, Arle Elder and Gary "Buck" Elder. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law; ten grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great grandchildren; and two special friends. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.
Idell enjoyed recording her history and genealogy and spending time with her grandchildren.
