Mrs. Billings was employed for a total of 28 years as a licensed practical nurse at North Adams Regional Hospital and at several area nursing homes. She also worked as a private-duty nurse for area families. She retired in 1987.
She was a member of Blackinton Union Church and a former member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping and traveling.
Her husband, Clarence E. Billings, whom she married Oct. 18, 1947, at First Baptist Church of Adams, died May 23, 1999.
She leaves two sons, and three grandchildren. Another son, Thomas Billings, died May 1, 1957.
