She was born on Buffalo Mountain Virginia 3 Jul 1839.
On 8 Nov 1860, she was united in marriage to Mr Adam Martin Vanburen Arbogast, son of Moses H. Arbogast and Susannah G. Yeager,

On the 15 Dec 1911, she went home to glory from the home of her brother Mr Brown McLauren Yeager in Marlinton, to which place she had gone to visit. She was the eldest of a family of eleven children

They were married 8 Nov 1860 at Mt. Hebron Church, Allegheny Mountain Pocahontas
