A. LaVon Baker Ferrai passed away at Washoe Medical Center at the age of 69. She was born to John Thomas and Ruth Caudle Baker. She had lived in Reno since 1950, coming from Idaho. She had worked as a waitress and bookkeeper. She was a past president of Post 9211 Ladies Auxiliary Veteran of Foreign Wars and also a member of Tops 114. LaVon is survived by her husband, Bruno and sister, Nadine Chavez both of Reno; sister Joan Wells of Pocatello; and several nieces and nephews.
