Roger Dale Richardson was born December 16, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri to the late Charles Cecil and Elma Lorraine (Lough) Richardson. At 70 years 10 months and 27 days, Roger went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 13, 2019. Funeral service was on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:00 P. M.

Roger was a man of God and attended the Gateway School of Preaching in Godfrey, Illinois to become a minister. He loved teaching the Word of God and reading the Bible. In his spare time, he was also an artist.

Roger was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP). He has worked at many hospitals starting at St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri and retiring from Peninsula Regional Medical Center at Salisbury Maryland.

Roger is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Richardson ‘nee Leonard. He is also survived by his daughter, Amy Kellenberger of Milton, Delaware, Anthony Richardson of New Castle, Delaware; 2 sisters, Paula Lynn of Dahlonega, Georgia and Linda Sue Richardson of Salem, Missouri; 3 brothers, Robert Edward, Charles Thomas “Chuck”, and Jeffery Paul Richardson of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. His 4 grandchildren, Amanda Martin of Milton, Thaliya Plossard of Seattle, Washington and Ashley and Cayden Richardson of New Castle, Delaware and 3 great grandchildren, Nicholas, Aaron, and Jonathan.
