During theor Marriage they had six children: James "Jim Garfield Baugh, Nancy J Baugh Conder, Samuel Hawkins Baugh, Sarah Isamack "Iza" Baugh Jones, Mary Frances Baugh Cox Lavell, and Henry Allen Baugh. He died on February 28, 1931, in Boyle, Kentucky, at the age of 97, and was buried In the Elder Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.

He was married to Elizabeth Ellen (Hafley) Baugh (1835-1926) on 24 April 1866 in Boyle Co., Kentucky and was a farmer by occupation.
