Donald Kent Bowen, 74, died Friday August 9th, 2019 at his residence in Canton, MS.
Donald was born in Sanatorium, MS July 30th, 1945 to the late Dan and Bessie Johnson Bowen. He enjoyed selling and riding motorcycles, the speed and excitement of NASCAR and Ole Miss and Saints football days. Donald was the sweetest man ever and was adored by his family. He is a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the love of his life, Vivian Bowen; his son- Keith Bowen; his brother-Howard Cargill; his sister- Jean Clark Howie and his grandson- Austen Slay.
He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Bowen of Canton, MS; his sisters, Charlotte Curtis of Terry, MS, Dot Liberty from Maine and Margie Bradley from Texas; granddaughter, Nicole Bowen and great-grandson, Damien Jewel
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 25th from 2 – 3 P.M. at Sebrell Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 3 P.M.
