Barbara J. Clark was born February 25, 1936, to the late William Clark and Elizabeth Burton, both of Kemper County, Mississippi. Ms. Clark attended Pleasant Grove Highschool and the went on to Whisenton Community College. In 1960, Ms. Clark met and had two children by the late Plummer Johnson the late Doris Clark and survived by Cassandra Clark. During Ms. Clark' s life she was know to the community as a kind, loving warm hearted and phenomenal woman. She was a live in nurse to various families. Ms. Clark then transition on to being a devoted member of True Love Missionary Baptist church were she served as a Nurse Usher for 30 years. Barbara was also known as a community activists and a mother figure to array of people. Unfortunately on September 10 , 2017 Ms. Clark was called home . Ms. Clark is survived by two sisters Ollie Mae Bailey and Thelma Hickman both of Jackson, MS and her late brother and sister Ivy lee Roberts, James Clark, Obie Clark, Bonnie Jean Clarke and Oletha Hopson. She also is survived by her grandchildren Rashawn Clark, Michael Clark, Jillian Clark and Sharon Clark. She is also survived by great grands Rashawn Clark II, Mi' Shon Clark, Olivia Lamb, and Kaylee Athias and a host of family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 21, 2017, at 12 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, N.J. Arrangements are by Woody "Home for Services,".
