Deanne was born in Wharton, Texas on October 6, 1944. Deanne was a life-long learner. She graduated from Orchard High School and continued her education at Wharton County Junior College and the University of Houston.
Deanne was married to Richard Fagert on December 27, 1964; they were married 55 years and recently celebrated their 55th anniversary on a trip to Ireland.
Deanne engaged and inspired students for 47 years as a teacher. She was recognized with many outstanding teacher honors.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Georgia Sbrusch; brother, Robert; and granddaughter, Lindsey Fagert.
Deanne is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Bill Fagert and friend Nancy Chavarria; daughter, Erin Moore and husband, Frank. The light of her life were her three grandchildren, Hayley Fagert, Katie Fagert, and Chaplin Moore.
The funeral service will be held on August 24, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Sealy. Father Eric J. Pitre is officiating. A viewing will be held August 23, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 at Knesek Funeral Home in Sealy.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Deanne Fagert Educational Foundation at Citizens State Bank in Sealy.
