Deaconess Jacqueline L. Johnson-Williams, 77, of East Orange, N.J., passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at 12 noon from Imani Baptist Church of Christ, 113 Elmwood Ave., East Orange. Visitation is on Monday from 11 am. until time of services. Interment is in Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair, N.J. Arrangements are by Woody "Home for Services," Orange, N.J. Born in Mooresville, N.C., Jacqueline was a resident of East Orange for 40 years. She was employed as an educator with the New York City Board of Education where she worked for 35 years before retiring. Jacqueline was the beloved wife of James Williams; loving mother of Kyron Johnson and Kelly Williams, adopted mother of Belinda Lofton; cherished adopted grandmother of Araya Dixon. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
