Hayden Ashley Vann, beautiful, loving young girl of 19 years, passed away Friday June 6, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near her home in Marietta. She will be greatly missed by her many friends at Walton High School (Marietta), and at her church, Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. A generous and gracious spirit she has left the world a poorer place by her absence, She is survived and deeply mourned by her father Jamie Vann of Marietta, her mother Pat Whiteman of Marietta, her sister, Whitney Vann of Athens, her stepfather, Harold Whiteman of Marietta, and grandparents: Mary Vann, John & Winn Downey, Barbara & Jon Rogers. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 9, 2003 at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta with the Reverend Bill Gambrell officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening June 8, 2003 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Canton Hill. On-line tributes may be posted at www.Mem.com.
