Ms. Binna Mae Gant passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Sparrow Heathcare System - Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan. Age 87 years. She born January 17, 1933 in Nokomis Alabama, the daughter of Frank and Ethel Montgomery.

Binna moved to Lansing Michigan in 1968. She worked for Michigan State University at Kellogg Center. Her work ethic so strong she received several Excellence in Service Awards. Binna retired after 25 years of dedicated work. She had a strong Christian belief and relationship with God. Sister Gant was a founding member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member for many years, serving in many ministries including the usher board, pastor's aid, and kitchen aid. Binna enjoyed cooking and had a passion for baking. She was well known for cooking and baking cakes for many people over the years. Binna truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; daughter; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; sister; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Ethel Montgomery; son, Carlton Gant Sr.; grandson, Carlton Gant Jr. and great grandson, Taijon Gant.
