Passed away tragically from a homicide, April 12, 2008 at the age of 25. He was born March 16, 1983 and was a resident of Galt, CA for 10 years.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Kim Mittlestadt of Galt and their son and daughter. He is the cherished son of Maryanne Abarr Jenkins of Redwood City, Michael Bruce Abarr of Elk Grove, CA and Jim and Shirley Strother of Idaho. Loving brother of Lisa Abarr Carlson of Redwood City and Drew Strother of Idaho. Devoted nephew of Richard and Kathy Jenkins of Auberry, CA and David Jenkins of Redwood City. Loving cousin of Vincent, Jessica and Joseph Jenkins. Steven worked as a security guard for Jackson Rancheria while preparing for a career in law enforcement. He enjoyed Karaoke, camping, boating, riding motorcycles and especially spending time with his family.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 12 Noon at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1685 Cordilleras Road, Redwood City. A reception will follow. CRIPPEN & FLYNN WOODSIDE CHAPEL (650) 369-4103
