Daniel R. King, Starrucca, Pa., died Tuesday a t his home after a brief illness. Mr. King, a resident of Starrucca for the past 35 years, was the father of the Rev. John King, Holy Trinity Church, Bloomington, IB. He was born in Canton, Pa the son of the late John and Elizabeth McDermott King, and was employed as station agent at Thompson for 22 years, later serving in the same capacity at Starrucca. He was a member of St. Paul's Church, Starrucca, and its Holy Name Society and the Order of Railroad Telegraphers. Additional survivors are his wife, the former Miss Catherine Gilleran, Starrucca; a daughter, Mrs. Sanford Leet, a teacher in Thompson and Starrucca Schools; a brother, William, Pompton Plains, N.J.; three sisters, Mrs. M.J. Brann and Mrs. William Brann, both of Canton, and Mrs. Bert Doane, Jersey City, N.J., and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the home with Mass in St. Paul's Church on Monday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m.
