Frances Augusta (McCarthy) Stanton, 83, of Phoenix, AZ passed away September 7, 2007 in Scottsdale, AZ. Frances had a beautiful voice and loved to sing at church, weddings and funerals. She was a practicing nurse for over 40 years. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will always be remembered for her generosity. She is survived by 3 daughters, Jeanette Carr of Ocracoke Island, NC, Ethlyn Turner and Della Barbara Stanton, both of Phoenix; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a sister Bobbie Caughman of Orangeburg, SC.
