She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and a member of Shiloh Christian Church.
Most recently she been employed at General Tire, retiring in 1979. Over the years she had also been employed at Mr. Happy Burger, Harvey's Restaurant, Maiben's Laundry, RBM Manufacturing and the Cass County Children's Home.
Doris enjoyed garage sales, playing BINGO and especially her dogs.
Surviving are a son, Michael Keith Berkshire, Logansport; daughter, Marla Kay Berkshire, Peru; and brother, William A. (Anne) Harrison, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry L. Harrison, Jack H. Harrison and Caylus Harrison; and sister, Maxine Acuff.
Services entrusted to Kroeger Funeral Home with interment in Clymers Cemetery, Cass County.
