Lawrence Brazinski was born the third son of five children to Mr. John Joseph "Jack" Brazinski and Mrs. Alice Edith (Gorton) Brazinski. On July 11, 1936, Larry married Miss Josephine Surzyn in Adams, Massachusetts, USA. Josephine is the daughter of Joseph and Pauline Surzyn of Albany County, New York, USA. The couple is blessed with two children, John Joseph Brazinski and Michael Brazinski, born in Albany County, New York, USA.


In November 1943 Lawrence enlisted with the U.S. Army, as a WWII combat infantryman. He was wounded in the line of duty and is recorded admitted to a VA hospital in Nov 1944 with combat action wounds to the hip and leg.



Lawrence was critically injured on the evening of August 30, 1958 while voluntarily providing firefighting assistance to help extinguish a large multiple-structure fire near his home on Ontario Street, Cohoes, New York. Lawrence passed away about 0730, 31 Aug 1958 from his significant skull fracture injuries then sustained. He was interred at Saint Michale's Cemetery with full military honors on September 2, 1958.
