August 7, 1965 - November 3, 2018 Jane Hall, respected designer of entertainment systems for some of the world's most prestigious projects, has passed away at the age of 53 in Santa Monica, California, from complications of colon cancer. Based in Burbank, California, she was renowned for her proactive and innovative design and management skills which produced projects that continue to bring joy, enlightenment and education to millions worldwide. Jane was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, then moved to California to attend college and realized it was her home. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in theatre arts and then moved to Los Angeles and earned her MFA degree in lighting design from UCLA. For more than 22 years, Jane played an integral role in entertainment projects on many levels. She led design teams for several companies including Thomas Gregor Associates, Associates in Media Engineering, Electrosonic and Clark Productions. She often said she couldn't believe people paid her to do something she loved so much. Her career included clients such as Princess Cruises, Universal Studios, Disney Imagineering, Carnival Cruise Lines, Aladdin Casino, Rockefeller Center, The Hettema Group, Lincoln Center, Mycotoo, BRC Imagination Arts, Mattel Children's Hospital, King Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site among many others. "She will be remembered and missed terribly by all of us who had the pleasure to know and work with her." Rex Stull, CEO Clark Productions Jane cherished spending time with her cat, Nigel, and drinking perfect Manhattans with her friends. She loved exploring the world, the menu of a new restaurant, and a competitive game of trivia.
