Linda K. Campbell, 70, of Omaha, NE died on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her home in Omaha.

Graveside services for Linda will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rosehill Cemetery of Pender. The visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Pender.

Linda was born in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Joseph “Bob” and Viola (Windhorst) Chaney. At an early age, the family moved to Pender, where Linda graduated from in 1968.

Following graduation, she attended the Stewart School of Hair Styling. In 1969, Linda and Kathy Dillard purchased the Velvet Poodle pet store in South Sioux City.

In 1969, she was united in marriage to Edward Campbell. To this union two children were born, Heather and Britt. Linda and Ed later divorced.

In 1990, Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business Administration. In 1992, she earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

In 1993, Linda sold the Velvet Poodle to her daughter, Heather and began working as the Director of Social Work at the Thomas Fitzgerald Veterans Home in Omaha.

Following her retirement, Linda ran her rental property business.

Linda had an adventurous soul and lived life to its fullest. She has been zip lining and sky diving.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, loved her Tuxedo cats, fishing with her grandson and spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather Campbell (Thomas Davidson, Jr.) of Walthill, NE; son, Britt (Shari) Campbell of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Emme Campbell, Madeline Campbell, Aisha Campbell, Ethan Campbell (Haley Walters), Arielle Campbell (Jamal Addison and baby Zyaire expected in November), Thomas Davidson, III, Kaiden Davidson, Robert Campbell, Ava Campbell; step daughter, Abby Jo Brown; sister-in-law, Judy Chaney of Pender, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lon Chaney; and former husband Edward Campbell.
